Whoa! dude, what happened to your web site? Part 2

You like? This “theme” is called “modern paper”– and you will notice that it is 180 degrees different from dfire theme I had up for the last few days. Modern Paper is less flashy, yet maintains the “recently written” feature and other nice navigation tools–and it is more easy to read.

As for this theme, it’s not done yet. My now 13 year old is going to create a new banner for me to make this theme more “mine” in a small way. It’s not as glitzy as I like but the overall look is clean and the features are awesome!

once again… PLEASE give me your feedback

I’ve noticed once little “gotcha” already, converting over to this theme goofed up some of the characters in my other articles. It put in weird symbols in place of parentheses, etc.

BB, who is a staunch hater of blogs, did email me to let me know that he checked out the latest theme–and felt that it is too difficult to read.

How about the rest of you? What do you think?

I wondered about its readability myself. But on the other hand, I really like some of the features. So… again, I am going to see if I can hack the theme a little and lighten it up, make it more reader friendly.

But also >>>> this is just the first test. I have lots of other themes on my list. Cool as this theme is, it may not make the final pick for my site.

As for the above entry, well BB’s comments referred to the dfire theme. We are now on the Modernpaper theme.

If you are ever confused as to which theme I am experimenting with, just look at the footer of the web site. It should say “using XXXXX theme created by XXXX”
